The Lord has never abandoned a person who has uttered his name even once; that one utterance can turn the most wayward and immoral person into a Mahatma. Chanting Bhagawan Nama, Hearing the Nama and contemplating about the Nama are all one and the same. It is on this premise that the Sri Rama Bank is founded. ABOUT NOVEMBER 2001 YATRA
RAMA NAMA BANK have now undertaken the longest yatra to the north of about 3,200 kms with 520 crores of Rama Namas and they are going to install the Rama Nama in 5 places(104 crores each).
The 5 places are: CHITRAKUT, PRAYAG, KASHI, AYODHYA and BRINDHAVAN. With Darsana prathishtai at Ayodhya, Sri Rama Nama Bank completes a mile stone of 1000 crores.
This yatra is initiated on 27.11.2001 from Chennai with 520 crores of Sri Rama Nama in 3 vehicles and about 50 Bagavathas and bhakthas on foot. On 24.02.2002, it reahces Chitrakut in Uttar Pradesh after passing through Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh, Maharashtra and Madhya Pradesh. After consecrating 104 crores of Sri Rama Nama the Yatra proceeds to Prayag.
It reaches Prayag on 2.3.2002 and after consecrating 104 crores of Sri Rama Nama the Yatra proceeds to Kashi(Varanasi). It reaches Kashi on 15.3.2002 abd after consecrating 104 crores of Sri Rama Nama the Yatra proceeds to Ayodhya. It reaches Ayodhya on 25.3.2002 and after consecrating 104 crores of Sri Rama Nama the Yatra proceeds to Brindavan. The Yatra concludes after reaching Brindavan on 21.4.2002 and enshrining 104 crores of Sri Rama Nama.
